About
Situated on the Black Isle, a low peninsula surrounded by sea lochs, over 400 species of culinary, medicinal and aromatic herbs are grown in the sheltered grounds of Poyntzfield walled garden. The herbs originate from countries all around the world but include ones native to Scotland which have herbal properties and are grown to organic / biodynamic standards.
Sustainable Practices
All herbs are grown to organic / biodynamic standards and grown in compost free from peat extracted from peat bogs. We use renewable energy to grow on young plants and produce our own compost to return nutrients into the garden.
